Founded in 1999, we are a 501.c Non-Profit dedicated to rescuing animals throughout Marion County and placing them in permanent homes. The SPCA of Marion County supports its goals of animal welfare by: Finding loving homes for unwanted cats and dogs Supporting individuals or families willing to foster Reuniting lost pets with their loved ones Donating to ethical animal charitable organizations Offsetting the cost of pet medical care for needy families Supplying and packing food for the Pets on Wheels program Educating our community about animal welfare. **Our veterinary medical assistance program for low income families has been very high lately. We are in desperate need of cash donations to continue this worthy program for local families. We don’t take any of the money for organizational expenses. It all goes to helping pets right here in Marion County Florida. Any amount is welcome.**

If you want a pet, but not able to make a long term commitment to one, Think about being a Foster Parent.
It's a very rewarding experience helping out animal in need while they are waiting on their fur-ever home. Foster parents make a huge difference in a pet's life. Without Fosters, we wouldn't be able to help as many animals as we do.
